Kefirko Sourdough Fermenter Jar
Sourdough fermenter with purple lid. The fermenter consists of a fermentation jar, measuring cup, fermentation clock, measuring spoon, lid, and rubber band. Additionally, the fermenter comes with a
VERSATILE CUP WITH LID
It functions as the lid of the sourdough fermenter, a measuring cup, and a storage container. The markings on the side wall of the cup (cups/grams and milliliters) help you accurately measure the water and flour each time you feed the starter. The cup, which covers the jar, allows for airflow and promotes the living cultures in your sourdough starter.
STORING THE STARTER
When the sourdough starter is safely stored in a versatile cup with a lid, it's always ready for your next bake. To ensure the starter is never "hungry," use the fermentation clock to mark the time of the last feeding. If you store the starter at room temperature, feed it once a day. Store it in the refrigerator, feed it once a week.
RUBBER BAND
Before rising, mark the initial level of the sourdough starter. You will see when the starter has doubled and is ready for baking.
STORAGE LID
Attach the sealing cap to the ring of the sourdough fermenter to cover the glass jar for storing sourdough preferment or other ferments you wish to keep in the refrigerator.
